Zivai's Origin Story
Our oils and balms are where our story begins.
Our founder is a Registered Massage Therapist who started using essential oils in her practice after taking a course on healing applications of essential oils. Her clients loved the oils, and balms she used in her treatments.
After a few years of using and perfecting these combinations of oils and butters, she started bottling them for Christmas self-care gifts for her regular clientele.
In the fall, year after year they would ask if she planned to do this again, as they were running low, and looking forward to their Christmas gift.
Then COVID came and she was not allowed to practice. A few of her clients reached out and asked if they could buy some of her products to replicated the relaxing atmosphere of her treatments. Her clients were not only buying for their personal use but also to give as gifts to friends and family.
She was allowed to reopen her practice and the sales continued. She hired some professionals to help launch our brand and here we are years later going strong.
